Remix Revealed! With a Farscape Drabble.
The remixthedrabble authors have been revealed! Turns out the three I got were written by sgarakaki, donutsweeper and kernezelda. (And, ha! I totally would have bet on that last one! Your Scorpius is both excellent and easily identifiable, Kerne. ;)) My thanks to all three of them!
As I said before, I ended up writing three assignments plus a pinch hit. What's funny is that the three people I was actually assigned were all folks that I had remixed before, either for remixthedrabble or remixredux. Are my fandoms really that insular? I had no problem finding new things to remix for any of them, though.
Anyway, I figured I'd repost mine here separately by fandom, so here's the first one, for Farscape:

Chubby little fingers tighten around the pulse pistol's grip, and a million horror stories flash across Crichton's mind: PSAs, movies of the week, local news anchors with bad hair and carefully calculated expressions sticking microphones in the faces of guilty, grieving parents. Hell, even good ol' Southern boys know that guns and toddlers do not go together.
"That's very good, D'Argo," says Aeryn, her voice full of maternal pride. "You're learning."
Crichton's learning, too. Every day he's out here, he's learning, even now. Some days, he really wishes he wasn't.
D'Argo smiles, and Mommy's fingers guide him to the trigger.
