a thought just occurred to me. I am morally opposed to cloning and I find it a bit disturbing how some people want their pets cloned after death (another example of how modern culture denies the inevitability of death rather than accepting). but I wonder, maybe it's the science side of me: will the personality of the pet be the same in the clone? I

heehee yeah sometimes the "thats just blasphemous toward life in general" side of me is fighting against the, "that would be so cool to see what happens!" side of me!

dude they totally covered that on this american life. they cloned the most gentle bull on earth, & the clone gored the owner (clearly, not the same.) but it did have the same fave spot in the yard which is creepy. check out the episode in the archives!

yes yes yes. maybe some night next week we can get drinks together at the field or phoenix landing. I'd also like to do karaoke at some point, but that probably involves more planning than just drinks, so let's aim for that first ;)

I'm busy Monday (Red Sox game) and Thursday (band practice), but other than that, any night will work, just let me know which is best!

and we'll see if Brian and Mark can join us ;)
