I was watching Animal Planet last night, and they had commercials for Steve Irwin's new documentary, of swimming with deadly ocean animals. I made a mental note of the time since I have an obsession with sea aminamals (and they were showing whale sharks! booyeah!), only to wake up this morning and learn that he died from a stingray

I was so shocked to hear about Steve Irwin. Awful! He was crazy, but at least his methods got attention for animals that people might otherwise regard as expendable and for conservation of wild animal habitats.
Sounds like such a freak accident that he was pierced by a stingray. :(

we miss you guys too!! I am having fun down here, but I miss Boston and Boston people and the Boston music scene immensely :( it's weird not having a show to go to every week!
