so I tried the climbing wall at Hopkins today; I didn't pass the belay test, but I was still able to climb (and hopefully will pass next week and could then belay

i had a similar experience last year... i thought i'd zoom right up but then when i looked down i was like uhhhh and i didn't know the kid belaying me at all which was like, um, why am i putting my life in your hands?
