... nothing sucks more than calling your wife and letting her know that her plans for your girls are done (mostly cause she doesn't want to take the trip without you) cause your stuck working a weekend that you original planned the trip, do to an issue with power for the server room moves forcing it to move one weekend later.

You weren't anyways - the reservations were for the weekend after, November 7th-9th. Kim didn't want to go without me, and looked into rescheduling it for another weekend, but without the special rates, the price for the weekend more than doubled, so we cancelled for now. Instead, she's spliting the cost for a room at a hotel waterpark in Brainard that weekend with her mom, so the girls can go with their cousin too. Meanwhile, I'll be moving servers, and anxiously wishing for these projects to end...
