I told you about when Gerry had intractable hiccups, didn't I? 36 hours, dude, until they gave him some thorazine to stop the spasming. He slept for 18 hours, like the dead. It was terrible.

That ties me for my longest stint ever; right around 36 hours. It was in college and I didn't even go to class because it sucked so bad.

Trying to smoke w/ the hic ups is quite possibly one of the worst things on the planet. Right up there with getting pinned down by zombies and them eating from the bottom up so you're alive through most of it.

There are times that I would prefer the zombies. At least they still won't be eating you when you wake up, unlike the hiccups where as soon as I open my eyes they greet me with malice and spite

You should eat a pickle while you have the hiccups. Not that it's some kind of cure - I just think it would be funny to have a Pickle Hic-kle.
