I have that same problem of forgetting what I've read. I need to find some more time to read in 2009. It was something I didn't do nearly enough of in 2008.

How's the library system there? I looooove books, but they're outrageously expensive in NZ, and then I have to find somewhere to put them! Strangely enough I found the St Louis Library amazing, perhaps cos being in the US the Americans rarely used it, so that left all those lovely new books for me! ;-) :p I used to have the library reserveration site open in one window and Amazon in another and then I'd just reserve half the new books! It was fantastic! :-D The NZ libraries are so in demand it costs $5 to borrow a new new book and they don't have the best stock :-(
Altho to be fair I mostly read complete trash :-o

I read Eat, Pray, Love around this time last year and adored it. Hope you like it.

I do like it a lot... and you replying reminds me I haven't responded to your comments about your course handbook. How is it going?

I think I was going to suggest a marking scheme, but wondered if that came centrally from the validation body. It all gets a bit murky when you have outside bodies. I'm used to the more autonomous Universities!

Yes, the mark schemes are set by the exam boards, and differ between levels. I will include them, as I will be including a policy on marking procedures and assessment for learning from Estyn, but won't have to write them myself from scratch. Thanks for the suggestion!
