Olbermann's segment always felt like a liberal fatwa.

And I think a lot of people still don't get Jon Stewart's rally. Even the people who went there. Some completely missed the point.

But yeah, Jon Stewart is completely right.

And even worse still, he'll cancel one segment but continue ranting and raving about everything else in one week, thinking that his temporary band-aid is the cure-all to the overall anger.

Both Fox news and MSNBC aren't equally problematic, because FOX is the only TV news station that hires measurable numbers of conservatives. Simply having people who add something besides the pervasive echo-chamber makes them a positive addition to the field. In the sense that a brothel that did regular blood tests and used condoms reliably would be a "positive addition" to the sex-trade.

Both are "equally problematic" however, in that they're TV news brought to you by J-school grads, i.e. marginally competent and ethically bankrupt.
