So here we are in NC taking a vacation. Much needed at that too I might add. Left Saturday afternoon and got here Sunday afternoon. Stopped in Virginia for the night since I couldn't drive anymore (got a cold the day before we left and was all doped up and tired). Abby did awesome for her first road trip. Yeah I know. Even though we bitch alot about how certain things suck (like lack of money all the damn time lol), we ARE pretty lucky in other aspects. :)

So how many times did she try to run at the water only to have it chase her? lol

Actually she didn't really even pay any attention to the water. I had to pick her up and place her in the line of fire before she realized what was going on. Even then, she just stood there and let the water roll over her feet. Didn't really know WHAT to do. lol I think the fact that she had never stood on sand before held her attention the most. We'll find out more tomorrow when we go back on the beach.

Ya, it's so funny the first time they stand on sand. One of those things that you just don't think about until you see it through the eyes of a toddler.

She's not afraid of the water. She took a nose dive into it the first time we let her loose and she just got right back up and kept on trucking. lol

(which reminds me that i need to go buy some spf one~trillion so my arm doesn't burn out in the sun. blahhh. at least by wearing a t-shirt/tank top i don't worry about putting sunscreen on my ribs too)
