Is this thing on? I think it's been nearly 2 years since I posted to my own journal, how pitiful. astolat and cesperanza are encouraging a retro journaling challenge. So I can blame them for adding boring electrons to the universe. What a relief

Tumblr is great for eye candy, which is fun, but I'm really missing lengthy discussions that are possible here. You can post text stuff there, but you can't really do a discussion. I do comment on some reblogs, but it's not the same.

I've been enjoying Longmire too. What do you think is weird about it?

I guess I find the rhythm sort of unusual. There often seems to be no resolution after a build-up and a big event. Or it resolves really quickly, like his daughter in the hospital. I also find Walt very hard to read. I'm sure that's true to the character, but I find I disengage emotionally when I don't see what the main character is thinking/feeling. Maybe I'm just not paying enough attention, ha.
