I subscribed a two-years contract with a mobile company: I paid iPhone € 199, I've a monthly fee of 15 € and I've internet connection

I don't think I know a single person in japan whose phone lacks GPS, mail, browser and so on. So if you are an apple fan, it is cool, but otherwise it sounds pretty normal.
I've had my current phone almost a year, but I dont want to switch it just yet. Maybe in another year...

This is why iPhone is very popular here: none of our previous phones did such things so well. Yeah, we had Blackberry, but it isn't really comparable with iPhone. Yeah, we had phones with GPS, my previous one had it, but it was such a pain to use. And about browsers, well, they were - almost - ok for a website optimized for mobile devices, but otherwise pages were pretty unviewable, even with the pretty good Opera Mini.
Plus our carriers doesn't help... especially on mobile internet connections...
I'm an Apple user, but not an Apple fangirl (I hate that damn locked bluetooth on my phone!!!). I bought iPhone 'cause I was in need of a new phone and a new iPod touch, so I thought I could merge the two things and pay less XD

Recently, I've tried to jailbreak my Samsung to install Java games, with no success. It's the... third time I try it, and I give up now xD I think I'll live without videogames on my cellphone D=
A risk of jailbreaking it's that sometimes the only way is to resent everything to factory values, and sometimes that makes you phone not to recognise the working network anymore: it means your phone is no longer a "phone" D= That's another reason why I give up trying to jailbreak ^^U
Anyway, I know Apple will develop another IPhone in a few years, technology is like that xD
