Video Games and Addiction

As I'm sure many of my Canadian friends are aware, on Thanksgiving, a 15-year old boy went missing from his home in Barrie. I was on my way to Toronto when I caught a glimpse of two women putting up a "Missing" poster on the window of the police station, which is right next to the bus station. There was one couple here in the U.S. who neglected both their 2 children and home for some Dungeons and Dragon's MMORPG. The children were taken into state custody and managed to make it but both parents were arrested for child neglect and endangerment.

My sister's threatened to run away countless times, always after parents have set boundaries, but she's never actually done it. I wouldn't say he's entirely responsible either. He's being a teenager. But he's taken it too far.
