[Action A | 1128 Taylor][Kara's never the most graceful when she's just waking up. So when she wakes up in an unfamiliar bed wearing unfamiliar clothes in an unfamiliar room - so it's no real surprise that both bedding and girl end up in a tangled mess on the floor

[Look who you just bumped into, Kara. She turns around, about ready to tell Kara to watch where she's going but then she stops. Huh. This girl looks sort of familiar. ...Why is she in her pajamas?]

[She makes a face, nose wrinkling comically.]

I'm still not sure how I got here or where I am.

[Taking a step back, Kara smiles apologetically.]

Sorry for bumping into you like that.

So you're new, I guess? And it's fine. Do you need someone to explain things to you?

[Good timing on her part? Because that doesn't sound like something she'd enjoy, no offense.]

I just woke up here, wherever here even is. [Kara smiles gratefully and nods a little bit.] That'd really help. I know where I'm not, but that's not going to get me very far.

[Yeah it kind of sucked]

The easy explanation is that you've been kidnapped. This place is called Mayfield and it's essentially a sitcom town in the 1950s. One of those places where all the houses look the same and everything's supposed to be perfect. Unfortunately, they ruin that by doing things like dropping bombs on the town. If you had any powers, they're probably gone now too.

So it'd probably be really nice here if bad things didn't keep happening? [Watching earth media is a totally good way to learn about Earth's culture,right? She's done a lot of it, naturally since she wanted to know everything about her new home.] Isn't there any way to stop the bad things from happening?

[At the powers part, she nods her head a little bit.]

So that's where they went, I guess that'd make stopping the bad stuff that much harder.

[Because fully powered it'd be all too easy theoretically, after all she's Superfam for a reason.]

Maybe. If being trapped in a sparkly fake world where being a woman means you have very few choices is your idea of "nice". [It actually wouldn't be so bad if the people in charge weren't crazy and determined to kill everyone always] There probably is. But it would take a lot of planning.

That's another thing, yes. They choose to pull in very powerful people but then twist it to their advantage by taking away what makes them powerful. They know what they're doing.
