We have yet to hear from some of my family members in San Diego.  I'm crossing my fingers it's just the phone lines being tied up.  I hate not knowing if they're alright.

thanks! they're fine. everyone was accounted for and so far almost all their homes have been saved as well.

still waiting to find out on one of the homes but that was the least of my family's concerns. thanks again caroline.
