Mr. Snipey-poo does not seem to like his new nickname. As I wrote my last journal entry, someone was shot outside a Home Depot in Falls Church (or as Kyle says, False Church). Now maybe Dave won't drag me there to look at light fixtures or paint samples or whatnot. Thanks, Mr. Snipey-pants. Go for Radio Shack next, please.

to read this and realize you teach children. Nicknaming a sniper...suggesting he go to Radio Shack next. You do realize anyone has access to these pages including your superiors. How sad.

My remarks were not intended to be taken literallly. I would never ACTUALLY suggest or hope that the sniper would go to locations I suggested.

Yes, I do teach children, and we have been inside, every day, with all the exterior doors locked and the blinds down and closed. I have been very careful to maintain a normal routine and we do not discuss the sniper or his actions in class. My comments on LiveJournal in no way lessen my desire to keep my class safe.

I think if my superiors were to read my LiveJournal (and they can't from school, because of the security filter) they'd find a third-year-teacher struggling with behavior and curriculum. They'd find that most of my LiveJournal updates concern my class and school.
