Today I ventured to the Prince William Campus of George Mason University, with about 40 other teachers, to score a county-given writing test. The prompt was, "Imagine you can be any animal for a day". Well, let me tell you, after 5 hours or so of reading fourth graders' essays, I do NOT want to read about a dog or a cat or a dolphin ever again. ( Read more... )

If I could be any animal for a day, I would be a monkey. I would want to be a monkey because they are smart and they have fur to keep them warm. I think being a smart animal would be more fun than being an animal that is not smart. I would not want to be an animal without fur because then I might get cold ( ... )
