[Odette has been spending a lot of time roaming around the Keep. It reminds her a lot of home and in a lot of ways that is comforting. She hadn't thought about home in a long time it felt like. She likes it here, despite the oddity of everything ( Read more... )

[Asma had initially come to inspect the thermal pools - mainly to check if they were safe and if there was anything hiding there before actually taking a dip.

However, as soon as she arrives, she notices the mist and then the bird slipping into the pool.]

...Odette? [Asma doesn't know for sure if this really is Odette, but...well. Considering what she was told before, it's probably fair to assume.]

[Odette turns when she hears her name. She doesn't recognize the face but she does recognize the voice.]

Hello! You're...Asma, right?

Yes, I am. [Her expression quirks into something that's... like a smile, but not quite.]

This is my first time seeing a swan. The birds in Faudrin are much less graceful.

I've gotten used to it.

[Albeit, reluctantly. Still, with no one around to break her spell, she doesn't have much of a choice.]

But they are lovely birds.

[Croak croak. You have a visitor, Odette! A small, green, hoppy visitor!]

[Odette hears the croak and looks around for the source, breath held.]

Jean-Bob?

[This, sadly, is not Jean-bob; it's just a little green frog.

It does hop towards Odette, though, perhaps curious of her.]

[Okay no response. So not Jean-Bob. Odette turns and finally spots the frog. She's wary of it. Little woodland creatures who cannot speak do not bode well. Still that's no excuse to be rude! Besides, there's only one of it.]

Hello.

[There is a very sneaky kitty troll watching Odette from near the thermal pools. She's crouched low, but that still probably won't keep her from being noticed when she's this close.

She stares intently at the white feathery beast on the water. It looks delicious.]

[Unfortunately, Odette has her back turned to Nepeta. So she won't notice for now.]

[Nepeta creeps closer, on all fours. The bird is on the water. She doesn't want to get wet hunting her. Swimming isn't as much fun as hunting. But that means she'll need to make the bird run.

And to do that, she'll have to scare her.

Nepeta creeps closer still and gets ready to spring, then she knocks a loose rock with her foot.]

[Odette turns at the sound of the rocks being shuffled and offers Nepeta a smile.]

Oh hello.
