I think we can all agree that A4 was a huge success in the terms of organisation compared to A3 last year. Wayne and Paul took on all your comments from last year and significantly improved things to ensure the smooth running of the event.
However, with that said I'd like to know if there is anything that you think we can still improve on? There's

I guess I'm speaking for a lot of people here who wrote more than just one or two mails and never got an answer. I do understand that there's a lot to be taken care of but if I have a question as an attendee I'd like to get a response before the event takes place.
I only heard about the convention in Birmingham last year so I expected much more chaos and so I was positively surprised that everything went quite well. I was just a little bit annoyed that my ordered photo op's weren't in my envelope. I ordered them very late but I emailed Wayne more than once to avoid any chaos so...more communication is the only thing I missed so far.

Ok, well, then maybe not at one table, but still keep one line that could file past the actors. We ahd several discussions of this practice with other girls in line who'd gone to other cons and had seen this work out really well.

It's been a great weekend (I was at AE, not A4).
The only thing I can think of that would need improvement is the autograph session:
I was always so fortunate the last years and this year to get my autographs very early and got them all personalized.
but from what I've heard, if you get yours at a later point of time, the guests will stop personalizing because they simply don't have the time anymore. Maybe you could arrange a bit more time for the autographs so that each attendee has the opportunity to talk to the guest and get their autographs personalized? Cause that always is one of the main reasons to get the autographs in the first placem, isn't it? ;)

For example barely anyone knew that there was a photo op for Jason on Sunday.
Or when things were a little late and you ran the coffee lounges for Misha and Mark at the same time as the stage talk with Jim and Tracy. Just knew about it because I was peeking into the panel room at the time you put it on screen.
You could've easily used the wall outside the registration and ticket office for announcements like that. Everybody's been walking along there several times a day.

The only thing I agree on about the things that have been said is the communication. here on lj and at the con itself. I think the idea with a black board thingy is pretty great. (I didn't know that there were photo ops with Jason for example)
I think about what shorofsky said with the autographs: I don't think it would work with one line, especially not with Jim signing ;P the line would get stuck on his table... no, I really think it worked pretty well with the several lines!
the coffee lounge pic is cool idea though...
and since I know it's not really you fault when things start late (thinking about chad... jim.. ;P), maybe the lunch break could be longer? I don't know but that way maybe there's more room if the day starts late....
but that's just minor things for me, really. I had a great time and got everything I wanted at the weekend and hey, we didn't end the convention with standing ovations for nothing! :))
