Now I'd say I'm mildly interested in FF13-2, I wasn't that enamoured with FF13 so I'm down with a sequel that attempts to improve on its fuck ups, which is what it seems to be doing going by the trailers so far (apart from the character designs they're still bad and Serah still has the worst hair in the world fuck that stupid hairstyle it's so bad ( Read more... )

I'm really looking forward to the Tomb Raider reboot. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with the way Lara is beaten and broken in the trailer, but I do enjoy origin stories. That and I always liked Lara Croft.

Also, I'm definitely not going to buy anymore Final Fantasy games after FFXIII. I didn't hate it, but Square-Enix hasn't been impressing me with their Final Fantasy games lately. :\

I was hoping the reboot would feature a middle-aged Lara Croft instead of younger Croft again but I guess they want sequels out of this reboot too so an origin story's okay I guess... although, I wonder if she's still rich in this new origin story.

I don't see FF13-2 being a day one purchase for me, Versus 13 might be because the gameplay looks kind of engaging, well from what little I've seen of it.

I'm super excited for the reboot too!

I agree, and FF versus 13 still isn't even out the gates yet (I still think that game wasn't originally an FF game when development started) . I wish they would take more chances with new IP's but Final Fantasy guarantees them money so what can ya do.

Badly done QTE's give me grumpy face, which is like 95% of the games that try it.

I don't care what they do to Dante as long as the combat's good and from what they showed in the gameplay footage it looks like a pretty colourful game, and I'm all for games that have a splash of colour in them.

Oh yeah the Alice sequel, I'm looking forward to that too. Man I haven't even played Assassin's Creed 2 yet so I have no idea what's going on in the series.
