These are the creatures I was warned about? Does it get much worse-- no, really, can it. None the less, I have to get food for a friend. The cafeteria seems to be inhabited by some ... thing.

Is there an alternative way to get food, or is there a normal group that goes there? I believe something like that was mentioned.

I found something interesting at the chapel, if you are so inclined as to want to help with the 'group effort'. If you haven't seen it, find a gun and go.

And no, I've never had ridiculous boots. I have boots, though.

There were abductions. I still haven't gotten the story on what was involved but the impression was that that was worse.

As far as I know, there's nothing for it but to go through the creatures. But they're kind of stupid. They don't dodge gunfire like they should, so if you can find something to shoot at it, that's something. The problem is actually finding a decent weapon in time to fend them off and I found that out the hard way. If you can get past them, I recommend hoarding.

As a note, a chair doesn't count as a decent weapon.

But on a serious note, can they get into rooms? I doubt it at the moment, but considering what I found when I got back...

It was foolish to leave without trying to take food.

Don't get me wrong, they work as shields in a pinch. They can just be sliced through easily.

I've not heard of the bigger things getting into rooms, though I've run across some of the spiders before. I also heard about the little... faerie looking things getting into someone's underpants drawer, so that's something to take into consideration.

Well, you do what you can and this place is unpredictable at best.
