Who says furries aren't politically interested?

I just got back from a demonstration of 14,000 students and employees of 3 different state universities, who marched through downtown Kiel (state capital of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein) to the building of the state parliament to protest against the government's savings plan concerning the universities

Uh...yeah, who DOES say that?? There's tons of furs into politics. There's a good number who I've defriended (or never friended) because they will not talk about anything else. Granted, they're usually just complaining about it, rather than actively participating like you were.

Lucky mutt... I know about 30 to 35 furries in person and only of them is mildly interested in discussing politics. The others, including you, don't really like talking about it.
I wish there were more furries I could talk about stuff like that with. :-(

I'm rather interested in politics. But I seldom discuss political stuff with people I don't know.
You can count the number of furries I know in person on one hand. So I really can't tell whether furries are generally more or less political interested than others ^^;

Naja, mit fremden Leuten kann man auch beim Thema Politik schnell mal in ein Fettnäpfchen treten, weshalb das auch nicht zum Standard-Smalltalk-Repertoire gehören sollte. ;-)

Aber gut zu wissen, dann bist du jetzt Nummer 2 auf meiner Liste. Wie ich Vince oben schon geantwortet habe, von den 30 Furries, die ich kenne, ist gerade mal einer interessiert. Und diese selbst aufgestellte Statistik erschrickt mich ein wenig. -.-

Tja ich würde sagen: Traue keiner Statistik, die du nicht selbst gefälscht hast :-P

Aber im ernst, ich glaube das ist eher ein allgemeines Gesellschaftsproblem. Wenn ich sehe, wie mau Demos hier in Augsburg besucht sind, kann das nicht nur an desinteressierten Furries liegen ;-)
