My grades this semester were announced this week, with the last one announced yesterday. I got 2 Bs, 1 A-, and 2 As.

The B'sThe Bs are for "Social Statistic" and "TV and Entertainment Industry Seminar". I predicted that I would only get a B, or the best B+. I blew the final exam of the first and the mid-term paper for the second. So, the grades ( Read more... )

First congrats on your grades. Well done! What is your specific area of study that you are getting your degree in when you finish? You should feel so very proud you got that A from such a tough professor.

Congrats to your sister getting married! That's great news. Man, I've missed so much... didn't know how much I relied on internet (especially to keep in touch with you guys) until I lost it :( Still working on getting better connections but if by the end of the year no change then we're switching companies for sure. It sucks not being able to go online like I used to. Anyway yay for your sister getting married. I'd love to see pictures of your dress please and of the big day when it arrives :) Hopefully my internet will be existent and good connection by then so I can actually log online to see the shots. My best friend's getting married in October and I'm not a fan of my bridesmaid dress but it's her wedding so I bought it to please her since she liked it.

Good reading about your life once again. I've missed that and you so much.

What is your specific area of study that you are getting your degree in when you finish?

The program is called "Communication Studies" however, it is actually "Media studies". Truthfully, it wasn't really the major that I should've taken. "Marketing Communication" will fit better for my work. But that program is more pricey and it has night classes. So, although I know I'm making a mistake with this major, I still hope I can finish well.

Yes, my little sister is getting married in July. I will try to take pictures :). Can't believe she's getting hitched by I am still single. Oh, well, c'est la vie.

Hey Ami, Great to hear you're doing so well with your studies! I can't believe one of your professors is 79!! Like, wow! I hope you are still enjoying the course. It certainly sounds like you are doing well anyway.

Good to hear plans for he wedding are going well and that you like the gown style even if pink is not your favorite color to wear. I'm sure it will look amazing on. :)

Hope life is treating you well this past while. I feel like time is just whizzing by!

ETA: Almost forgot - The Netherlands do indeed need a miracle. They have been so poor. But after the Greeks going through tonight - you never know!! :)

I was pleased with the England performance against Sweden so am hoping we progress to the next stages. I'll be watching on Tuesday! :)

Yes, one of the professors is 79 years old and he still looks healthy and his mind is still sharp. He's a legend here!

I am so NOT a pink girl, but it's a lovely dress. My sister knows fashion more than I. I'm more of a t-shirt and pants kind of girl.

I still cannot believe that Greece is through! Group A's result is quite intriguing. But I do think it will take a miracle for The Netherlands, much more so than the case of Greece going forward.
