I had dinner last night with some people who do not know what they would do with a week off to hang around their house. They said they would be bored, and just watch TV. This is really truly not something I understand. Holy cow people, get a hobby or something!!!

I was reading "American Wife" and the narrator says that people don't really have hobbies anymore besides TV and the internet :( I'm glad I still do! I don't understand how people can't have any either....

Right? I mean, these people are busy grad students, and I understand that they may not have lots of time to pursue their hobbies....but I feel like there should at least be things they WANT to do, even if there aren't things they ACTUALLY do.

I'm with you, I never understand people who have to be out of the house "doing something" to feel active and alive. I always think they must be very empty inside.
