I had NO IDEA you had to audition to be a model for life drawing classes. I think at Pratt we just took any ol' person off the street who was willing to drop trou for a bunch of 18 year olds with charcoal and drawing pads. Granted, we did have some great models, but we had some pretty nasty looking ones too (but sometimes they're more fun to draw).

Sounds like a fun experience nonetheless. Great to see you guys on Saturday too!

And we had one of each. God knows the black lady had funnier poses. I'll save the description for the next in-person visit, as it has to be demonstrated, rather than described. That was one of the more difficult straight faces I've ever had to hold.

Maybe Pratt doesn't pay $18 per hour. For that rate, you get a larger pool to choose from, I guess? We aren't sure which schools the other eight 'judges' were representing, as we were only introduced to the two who were officially hosting the audition.

I like that Marc Maron - I think his ragefully challenging aspect is endearing because he was once a TV staple but his real opinions kind of edged him out of the Seinfeld path.

Yes, I finally got my password sorted out. Enjoying catching up - even the stuff I already know. :)
