The heat was oppressive. The room was way too full of family, and Hiyoshi couldn't help his restless sideways glances at his older cousin. Kite looked impassive as ever, despite all of the aunties giggling over his good looks and asking him probing questions about his 'purity.' Hiyoshi snorted. As if Kite had ever been remotely 'pure.'
Kite looked at him after the latest snort, brows furrowing. "I'm sure that Waka-chin needs some attention too," he pointed out, smirking. "He's been staring at us all night with a sad look in his eyes."
The flock of aunties came rustling over to Hiyoshi while he glared at Kite in acute frustration. Kite turned, waving. "I'm hitting the egg nog," he yawned.
"So, Waka-chin, have any giiiirlfriends yet?" Said aunt Sumomo, brushing his bangs away from his eyes.
