I think I've finally come to the conclusion that I'm happier in Toronto than Ottawa. When I'm back here, with a few exceptions, it feels like I'm clinging to old friendships that don't always feel like they're there anymore. I feel myself slipping back into old anti-social habits slowly and keep having to snap myself out of it. That being said,

Thanks for the offer, but I don't expect either of us will need to stay over. Jimmy isn't sure he'll be going out at all on Saturday night and if he does, he probably won't stay out late... apparently it's a tiring trip from Ethiopia.

You could always fit yourself in to a house that has already been rented but has an empty room. Does U of T have a website for people to make those connections?

Yeah, that's not a bad idea. The U of T Housing Office keeps a listing.

I'll need to check with my manager to see if I can take any time off at all despite my contract if I don't get in to res. However, if I get in to res, I'm pretty much certain I'll live there next year.
