Noise

I was walking to buy some groceries, when no less than 10 feet away on the road I hear a loud pop. I turned around just in time to see a car skidding to the side of the road and rear-ending a parked car. The occupants of the parked car got out, so I assumed they escaped injuries. I didn't loiter around too long so I don't know what happened next ( Read more... )

Rock and Roll became popular mostly because parents of children in the 50s and 60s disliked it. It is a healthy, natural thing to rebel, in both small and significant ways, against old people. Old people, to me, represent failure, despair, desperation, and a lack of passion. Your parents do, oftentimes, no what's best for you, though the entirety of the future of your academic and professional life is usually an area they know very little about what's best for you. This isn't a question of "eat your vegetables" or "don't lie", though those are both profound (moreso than you'd think, especially the latter) truths, this is *your life*. *YOUR* life ( ... )
