The summer I lived in Kent, I had a fireplace in my bedroom.

A fireplace that I used, because it was cold at night.

Yes, they are so funny about weather. Once when I was there the BBC announced that the weather would be "fresh." And that was it. The entire weather forecast for London was "fresh."

Farmers were beginning to worry about lack of rain when we were there in June, though. It's summer in that regard.
