Well I'm re-shooting a few of those shots this weekend, or at least attempting to :)
"Chatting without heads" - that is a lovely concept.
These 4x5 cameras are big metal beasts! They have an retractable accordian centre part which I like to play with a lot. The image is projected onto a frosted glass backing but the image is upside down and flip flopped so I have to twist my head weirdly. And when the lighting is fairly bright I get to stick my head under a black cloth in order to see the picture easier.. reminds me of those turn-of-the-century studio cameras :)
