Perhaps it's a blessing (or a curse) that there's other people like him around. They're just as confused as he is and selfishly, that pleases him. He's just trying to figure out what's going on with everyone else and as a consequence, he's probably paying far less attention than he should be. So of course he runs smack dab into someone.
Before he can even apologize profusely he hears her voice and looks at her disbelievingly. Was an added bonus to this place that you saw ghosts? Or just people in general who would haunt you. But no, she's real and in the flesh and, Jesus ( ... )

He's real. He's in the same jumpsuit they all are, and the smell of bourbon and leather and paper is more a fading hint and a memory than anything else, but Jenna can feel his heart race under her cheek and he's real, he's here. "Hi." She repeats it, voice cracking.
She doesn't bother to try and not cry, pressing her cheek into his shirt and breathing through it.

She's...god, he doesn't even know what she is right now, but she's at least real. Not a figment of his depressed imagination. She smells alive and not dead. She doesn't smell like she should be dead. The stupid jumpsuit looks lovely on her and he can't even really believe that she's even here. "I heard the first time, Jenna."
He bites his lip before squeezing her tightly, not even caring if she gets the jumpsuit wet. "But hey again. You're-"
He wants to ask her what she remembers, but how does he even begin to bring that up without probably tearing up himself.

He looks the same. Not the clothes, but that always dark jaw and the shape of his eyes, his nose, his mouth; Jenna knows them all, and they're like she remembered. Part of her wanted him there at the end, but she knows Alaric; he'd do something noble and heroic and they'd both have died. She can't make herself regret dying alone if it kept three quarters of their mismatched little family together. And now he's here, looking like he would have if they got goodbye and Jenna can't do anything but hang onto his shirt with desperate hands and cry.
She's dead. Spaceship or not, she's dead and now she's going to have to live with that until she fades away again. Some grief and bitterness join the relief now, but Jenna just clings tighter.
"Hi." She says it one more time, almost inaudible.
