He's teasing, because he has to, and because it's who he is. Eames damn well knows they have more important things, that greetings and courtesies are better reserved for times when they're not in crisis, when somewhere along the line someone somehow fucked up and they're all paying for it. His smile is light, almost cheerful, and he barely even moves from his position against the wall, until Arthur opens the door for him.

Unlocked. How unlike him.

"I thought you'd appreciate if I gave some consideration for your privacy," he laughs, as he brushes past him inside. The room is -- identical to his own, they must all look the same, slick and clean in shimmering chrome. His first thought had been that these sorts of rooms ought to fit Arthur better, all sharp lines and angles, but he looks as out of place here as the rest of them do.
