SUMMARY: Just Taylor wandering around/exploring with her chihuahua.
It really hadn't taken long for boredom to set in. For all that Taylor and Jennie had discussed how it was nice to have a break from classes, it didn't change the fact that Taylor was used to a life that constantly had something going on. Classes, training, homework. More classes. More training. Even when she did get free time, she usually had something to fill it with, not endless metal hallways and people chattering on a communication network. And while being able to take all the naps she could possibly want had seemed appealing at first, there was only so much one girl could sleep.
She was still trying to view the whole thing as another mission - just a very strange one where she had no idea what she was actually meant to be doing. If she waited long enough, it'd crop up eventually, she was sure. In the meantime, though, there was no harm in going looking for it. Or something, at least.
The corridors really do all look like each other, and Taylor's fully aware that just wandering around will likely lead to her getting lost. But she's got Chubbs with her - most of the time walking out ahead of her, occasionally carrying him to give his little legs a rest - and she's relied on dog noses to get her out of tough spots in the past.
Besides, she can't see how getting lost for a while will make her situation any worse. It's not like there's anything going on for her to have to get back to, after all.
