I just watched Frost/Nixon. I thought it was great. The most impressive thing about the film was that I loved each and every character. I wasn't in love with them, I just loved them. I loved Frost and his determination to get and to win the interview. I loved lonely Nixon trying to make it back to the East coast. I loved Kevin Bacon's character for loving Nixon. I loved the producer. I loved Sam Rockwell's character not wanting to shake Nixon's hand but doing it anyway.
Another thing about the film was that I couldn't wait to get to the end. I needed to know what happened. I almost fast forwarded to watch the last fifteen minutes but controlled myself and watched the entire way through. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
I like it when I can love every character. That rarely happens.
