My thoughts on HBP
Saw HBP last night. So much fun!
I went with my brother, my sister, and her friend.
Bad:
~No U-No-Poo?
~The Burrow burning down. Uncool. This was not needed to make the movie exciting or interesting.
~The length. This movie was really long.
Good:
~Harry on drugs!!!! With the pincers! Best thing ever.
~Luna's lion hat. She's so weird and wonderful. And I loved her dress to Slughorn's party.
~Cormac McLaggen. He was perfect.
~Alan Rickman. That man is a genius. The perfect Snape.
~Draco. The part when Harry goes to question Katie then Draco sees him and starts walking away. Harry runs after him. Tom Felton has the most gorgeous walk I've ever seen. And seeing Dan walk after him...there's no comparison.
~Lavender. She was so funny. I loved the actress.
~Hermione's face when Harry was doing better in potions. Emma Watson is so cute.
~Ron's night on the love potion then getting poisoned. Rupert Grint is so funny.
~The way they handled Dumbledore's death. I think that scene was perfect and directed well.
One question though. It might have been just my theater but did anyone else notice the really crappy cuts between scenes. It felt like something was missing. They sometimes just didn't flow well. My sister noticed as well.
I don't get the same feeling I used to when I saw this movie, but it's still so magical. Growing up with HP has been the best thing ever.
