Yeah, I haven't been around much lately... for that, I absolutely do not apologize. Been workin' and such... as a matter of fact, I think I'll put some elbow grease into this one and burn some time while I'm at it ( Read more... )

It's good to hear from you! I agree with you about the young ones. Too much is done without the consideration that actions have consequences, wanted or not. I only hope that it's hit its peak and will start to digress.

I would like to hear more of this thailand thing-drop me an email and let me know.

As for the youth thing, I agree as well. I see kids at "later" stages of life earlier in their life and its sad. make sense? Sometimes I wander why they want to see-experience these things so soon. Sometimes its not all that exciting..

Anyhow, rambling on.

yeah, so pretty much if I went, I'd be going back to where I was with YWAM, and I hope to teach English there in the near future. I have a few questions facing me though, like whether I should go and spend the money I could use for college, and where to start college again, and all that. That's the short version!

It would be an awesome trip, you still talk about the first time around! So the way I see it is college is all good in itself, but experience is ten x's better because you are experiencing it! You only get to do it once, so DO IT!

as for our friendship.... where did it go? i know i am married and no longer working for the man, but take a chance... call when you are in town one of these many trips... it wouldn't hurt you. i am still jessey...

Hey Jessey, thanks for the encouragement! I know it would be really good for me, but I have a hard time with the whole ditching everything else I have going on part of the plan!
And, you're right, it wouldn't hurt me to catch up with you next time I'm on the coast... the trouble is that I have a bad habit of making plans that fall through. I have felt like it would be less cool of me to get people's hopes up and have them make plans or whatever, and then I don't show up. Like the trip I mentioned, it didn't happen. So, I'm sorry if I made the wrong choice. So, how have things been holding up without me? ;) Any plans for superbowl?

GO HAWKS!

hummm.. anonymous February 6 2006, 02:29:11 UTC
well i had a miserable day. you know the ones, where everything goes terribly and you don't know why and then you curl up to shut the world out but only feel worse? ugh. my poor husband was even reduced to doing a little silly dance to try and cheer me up. it was enlightening..i really did marry a pretty great guy. as for things without you, well i know we will never be where we were with our friendship at the beginning because there was so much hanging in the air around it.. but i do wish i could still talk to you. it's nice to have someone who you know knew you when...

yeah, seems like there's plenty to complain about... of course, that's totally the wrong angle to take. I don't know if older people always see younger people as so thick-headed when it comes to morals, or if it really is just a lot worse than when I was that age... but I guess in the end we are only accountable for our life and our life alone. So, how about you? Care to expand you thoughts?
