I don't know what has been wrong with me lately but I wish it would stop. I went through a huge phase for a VERY long time where I wasnt depressed at all and now lately I've been more and more depressed every night. Along the course of the last week

i guess different companies look for different things in management/supervisor/etc. type positions. I think that being approchable and other coworkers know they can come to you is one good quality of leadership, but sometimes it's helpful to separate yourself from others so you don't play favorites. that would be difficult for me, at this point in my life at least. And a lot of the time, none of those factors come into play and it's just about how much you talk yourself up and how well you bullshit. But that's the way it's played most the time...

ha ha ha.... yeah.. I'm gettin closer than I was. I put myself under the radar by turning in an application for a supervisor position they were hiring for even though I wasn't qualified (you have to be a "senior rep" first). But at least that gave the main boss an idea what kind of experience I've had. It was pretty cool. He actually pulled me aside and talked to me for a good 5-10 minutes. And I've had more exchanges conversationaly with him since then, a lot more nonchelantly and what not of course. But yeah. I can't really expect anyone to notice me if I keep to myself, which is for the most part, what I've done in the past. I figured I've spent so many years since I was supervisor at macheezmo mouse just being content with the entry-level, and built such credentials in my given field right now it's about time to start steppin up and asserting myself and build better credentials and what not. ::shrugs:: starting to accomplish acting more professional and what not but sometimes I feel it goes un noticed due to ones first
