Oh they made me do nothing. Out of 30+ students they selected three that will write for them via the Campus Times which is their high school publication. I had a blast though. I met tons of writers who told us not to go into the business and the money sucked!! Some sucked[like the people in their 40's still working the shitty beats] and some great ones[like the Pulitzer Prize winners] who were totally amazing.
Oh and they paid for EVERYTHING! Even the liqour. It was awesome. I reccomened everyone to enter next year, it was a BLAST.
The best part was making contacts with 30 other college students who have a love for writer than is close to yours and mine. I made friends that i will keep a lifetime, that is something you can never forget.
