I know there's a lot of people out there who are trying to learn Japanese but are failing to. So I'm going to lend them some help in learning the language in the most painless way possible - using the way schools teach you. Each week, I will post a lesson. One lesson is to take up one whole week so don't just think about stuffing seven lessons into one week - it WILL NOT WORK! Through out these 'lessons', I encourage you to immerse yourself in the Japanese language so in other words watch more Jdramas, variety shows, listen to Jpop, watch anime that's NOT dubbed and stuff like that. I suggest that you start with subbed videos first before slowly submerging your brain into full on Japanese.
Things you will need to learn Japanese...
Stationary
Grid paper (
http://drlili.org/files/12x10.pdf [yeah, yeah, I know it's for Chinese but Japanese people still use it to learn to write kanji and stuff like that ok])
Japanese dictionary (online eg. tangorin.com or a furigana japanese to english dictionary though I suggest using tangorin)
Japanese audio and/or videos (dailymotion, download it off a lj community, you guys know where to find it.)
3 Notebooks (one for notes, the other for work.)
(And if you have an Apple product [don't really know it they have it on Android] but if possible) Get 文法ガイド by Tae Kim, KanjiQ and 'imi wa?' which will act like a textbook.
Cardboard or something to make flashcards
(OPTIONAL: For those fluent in writing/reading and speaking Chinese [dialect or not], you can use 日中漢字 - an Apple App)
Skills or other things that will help you...
If you have a Japanese friend who is fluent in writing and speaking
And/Or
You speak an Asian language, especially dialects that come from Middle Chinese like Cantonese or Hakka
And/Or
You think you are a linguistic type of person
And/Or
You have very basic Japanese Skills.
These lessons will consist of vocab/kana followed by a information of the vocab/kana then a sentence structure and notes then the week's homework.
I don't personally care whether you want to learn it or not, I just made this for people who really want to learn but don't have the time and effort to enrol themselves into Japanese schools or stuff. Those who don't want to learn, leave this alone. Those who know Japanese, I would really appreciate if you help me since this is entirely me volunteering to teach people while I myself is learning the language also.
EDIT: I'm right now doing exams and assignments so lessons won't be up until the weekends if not; I have it up on my one week holiday.
Edit: After some consideration, I'm only posting when I have enough time to create a lesson. Sorry to those who were looking forward to a free Japanese online lesson but my life in beginning to get in my way.
