So, which is worse?
- Sending an email to facilitate a friend / business associate / political back-scratcher's obtainment of government support, otherwise via the usual channels, and receiving support from said friend / associate to the tune of (a) a borrowed ute and (b) < $1000 worth of fundraiser tickets.

- Grech is the one told Ford Credit this was a 'special customer'
- Grech is the one who received the fake email (which went to the Telegraph somehow)
- Grech is the one who forwarded documentation on the case to the Treasurer's personal number
The entire case against Rudd and Swan would then be a setup. Hard to see a motive, though.

The people of Australia demand better quality political scandals. Not Iguanagate, travel rorts, Keating’s pig farm or Howard’s big brother Stan. I don’t want to hear about ”Utegate” unless it involves Kevin Rudd rogering Kate Ellis in the back of a Holden Sandman after a pint of JD and six lines of coke. Now go away and try harder.
