All The Reasons

It's not like he'll ever notice.

The hushed whisper of the wind through the willows brushed against the soft ebony hair, golden eyes flinting from a shadow in the darkness.

He's so stupid! He'd never know it was really you who helped break the whole thing off.

A smirk crossed his narrowed face, as his eyes scanned the area just hoping... no, just ( Read more... )

It was a disgraceful thing, to allow the hours to slip passed him in such a way that he neglected to prepare dinner. Hardly the sort of mistake the butler of the Phantomhive house makes, considering the butler of the Phantomhive house made no mistakes. "I didn't think you would be so quick to leave his side."

"Ah..."

Claude smirked as he acknowledged the demon's presence with only a simple flick of his hand in a rather unaristocratic manner. Though not even a tilt of the head, quirk of the brow or lips, or even shifting of his body would show he respected Sebastian enough to let his appearance go noticed.

It was all too easy to imagine the blood spattering the dew-coated grass while the still flailing body was carried away into the night.

[ if only that owl picked up a certain scavenger life could be much better ]

"A butler's attention should be first and foremost his master."

A quirked eyebrow was given as he turned and faced the Phantomhive butler,

"...though I must admit I'm honored if you put me above even that."And now the temptation to laugh and scoff was nearly overwhelming to the point of ( ... )
