Okay. I watched THE DARK KNIGHT trailer for the first time since Heath Ledger passed away.
I was upset afterward and quite surprised by how bothered I still am by his death. I know it's a little dumb to miss someone I don't know, but I do.
I kind of grew up with him; he was the guy in 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, one of my favorite movies of my teen years. He took risks, and I respect that in an actor. (After all, I am a film buff although my career will be in TV one day.)Lastly, he chose to care about a character and a project that are both very dear to my heart.
And I guess that's our connection.
