15-word-fics
I did one of those 15-word-fics memes using Alexander and various people related to him. The results are under the cut:
1. Write down the names of 10 characters.
2. Write a fic of fifteen words or fewer for every prompt, using the characters determined by the numbers. Do NOT read the prompts before you do step 1.

First Time, 4 and 6 (Roxane & Alexander)
He was surprisingly gentle. After, she had wanted to hold him, but did not dare.
Angst, 7 (Olympias)
The news arrives. The streets are loud with wailing. Olympias hears nothing, feels nothing. He is dead.
AU, 1 and 8 (Craterus & Bagoas)
The Great King, with the commander of his Macedonian mercenaries, watches as the Parthenon burns.
Threesome, 3, 6, and 9 (Philip, Alexander & Hephaestion) [I can't write an actual threesome, so have some ust:]
When Philip’s gaze wanders, the pale eyes are always waiting. He shivers (unthinking), and looks elsewhere.
Hurt/Comfort, 5 and 10 (Ptolemy & Bucephalus)
The wound throbs, and Ptolemy clings tighter, grimacing. With a reassuring huff, Bucephalus walks on.
Crack, 1 (Craterus)
Craterus knows he looks ridiculous in eyeliner. He hates Alexander, sometimes. And the trousers...!
Horror, 10 (Bucephalus)
The creature advances, ears down, eyes a dull red. They’d said it was a man-eater.
Baby Fic, 5 and 9 (Ptolemy & Hephaestion)
"Our children will be cousins!" Hephaestion tells him, drunk, eyes shining. And rule the world.
Dark, 2 and 8 (Demosthenes & Bagoas)
The eunuch burns the letter, then stands. It is decided. The king must die.
Romance, 4 and 7 (Roxane & Olympias)
This is seduction, of a kind: subtle, teasing, heavy with promises. Their eyes meet, smiling, deadly.
Death Fic, 2 and 3 (Demosthenes & Philip)
What he remembers, as the theatre floor pools red with blood, is the Athenian’s knowing smile.
