I'll refrain from commenting on/asking about the 'nice boy' as everyone else has, and instead say, Fantabulous about everything! The gavel sounds very official, and everyone who goes abroad loves it, and Sarah certainly loved Zimbabwe, so, Sweet! Hope you figure it out.

...Of course, if you want to lead into the nice boy a little more, I'm sure we'd all be very interested. ;)

I've got a cousin in Tanzania which isn't TOO far from South Africa, if you want a potential place to crash. If you want to crash on a 50something yr old's floor, and if he wants a young 'un like yourself crashing on his floor. (For that matter there is a somewhat annoying somewhat cute undergrad here who is Tanzanian.) But no cousins in South Africa, unfortunately. (Although some elderly cousins' friends have a house there, I think.)

What are you being a research assistant on?

Well, the guy I'm working for does comparative welfare policy in developing countries. So currently, I'm reading more than I ever wanted to know about trade unions and pensioms in the British West Indies.
