I've been an atheist for 3 years. I grew up in a Roman Catholic/Episcopalian but not overly religious household. I did, however, go to a purely fanatical Christian school for 4 years. I'm out now (yes!) but one day I came to the conclusion that there is no stability in our lives, so humans came up with the idea of religion to depend on something.

You don't know which denomination your family is? It's understandable because they're basically the same, but usually one says the other side is wrong.

I do know. but since the Catholic Church doesn't allow converting from another religion, technically my mom's Episcopalian and my dad's Roman Catholic. Even though she took us to CCD and communion and confirmation and all that shit.
