I love this video. I think I would be one of the people in the crowd, a little shocked, but I still think it's hilarious. It's one of my favorites.

I can't really think of a Mitchell and Webb character to identify with, but going offtopic a little (which I'm assuming is 'OK') there is this sad, pathetic fellow, a creation of Chris Morris.

Oh, I can't resist posting a link to something else by Chris Morris (who I guess few people in America have heard of): there's some truly vicious satire of religion in this episode of 'Brass Eye' (mostly in parts 2 and 3).
