When I came into work today, I was ambushed by folks thanking me for being a veteran...I really didn't know what to say, but it felt good.
(I'm not a veteran of war, just a veteran of service, but it WAS 8 years....)

So, in honor of all the other vets who put up with the wonderful wacky world of the military....enjoy

It was funny, the night before I was talking to another vet who was astonished I had to work that day.

The morning greeting erased any irritation I'd felt. During the day I must have gotten about 10 more thankyous!
