i have a 3.0 major GPA as of this semester, so times are good. :)

as for fiction professors, i would recommend porter shreve and patricia henley [though i've only taken one of porter's classes, a friend has been in henley's 409 class and raved about it]. also, under no circumstances should you ever take a sharon solwitz-taught course. i did and ended up with a C and the urge to shoot myself in the face.

as for the poetry side, don platt and marianne boruch are awesome and i <3 <3 <3 <3 them long time.

I'm just curious...did a lot of your credits transfer? and how long are you going to be in school?

Oh, and I'm taking SOC 100 next semester. (Not that it has anything to do w/ your new major, but you said you liked SOC...)

A lot of my stuff transfered. Probably only have to be here 2 more years at the very most.

I'm taking SOC 100 again to raise my grade. We should make sure we have the same class. I'm going to try to get Owens. He's really good.
