A storm in an iphone

Technology sometimes does things. Despite knowing that these are pieces of machinary and thus not actually willful, it is sometimes hard not to believe it.

For a while now my iphone has been petulantly* demanding I re-enter my gmail password every now and then, rejecting it as being "incorrect" despite the fact that it works on every other gmail ( Read more... )

I think petulance and just plain willfulness are features of most pieces of tech. They just don't mention it in the manual...

"Thank you for buying the new squidgyphone XL Mk2a, by the way it will fuck with you sometimes just for the hell of it, and no we don't know why either. Still it's better than the XL Mk2 which was just perverse and only worked properly on alternate Tuesday afternoons, unless it was wet out."

There must be something in the air, Sam's iPod Touch recently self-immolated. I think it's the world finally rebelling against the Apple moonshine.

If I went back in time, steampunk, nay stonepunk prolly wouldn't happen (I would be the god of small miracles,like safety pins and screws) Seriously it just sounds like magic (except IT proc. 1, I know that one) Now; ifn someone was to buy me an ipad*...I might try and lern tek.

*is it me or do they look suspiciously like a chalk board from way back when?-prolly just me.
