What do you all think of my new background? I wanted something colorful, something happy and exciting. I loved the tree. Originally, there was a couple kissing in one corner but I didn't like that ,so I erased it in Paint. The tree is beautiful enough and doesn't serve as a reminder of my singleness.

Thank you Jessica! You have no idea how beautiful this all was for me to read. It filled my heart with the warm sensation of joy. For sometime after I simply basked in the awesome love of friendship. You have no idea how perfect that quote was for me right now. Currently, my life seems to be a mixture of joy and grief. Grief over my church continuing to disolve (Sunday was my Pastor's last and afterward we had a meeting...you can read it about in the entry I am about to post), and my Grandpa (my last grandparent) was just moved to assisted living and we are cleaning out his house...Noel got in an accident and is in the hospital. I feel as if I am submersed in grief and yet there is still joy. Actually, (at least when it comes to church and grandpa) the best way to describe it is with the words "for even grief itself arose so softened and clothed in such sweet and tender recollections..." but I wouldn't go so far as to say it has become a solemn pleasure but more that it is intermingled. Please, pray for Noel. I will probably call ( ... )
