Today I intended to do some stuff. When I went down to the basement, I noticed that the water heater was sitting in a pool of water. Looking around the edge of the heater to see how bad the damage was, I saw flames jetting out from under the heater. Interesting fact: I just had to steal some old patio pavers from the neighbors in order to make the basement floor less shitty so that a new water heater could be installed.

This brings the number of things I have stolen from that yard in order to redress water heater problems to two.
